Hi, I’m Kim. I live in a sleepy town in Cornwall with my Husband Dan and our small (ish) hoard of various pets. You can usually find me walking our dog in the nearby countryside, or rummaging in charity shops for undiscovered gems.
Our Cornish Home was originally created as a way of documenting our home renovation journey, and the trials & tribulations of being a first time homeowner. Off the back of this my love for design somewhat snowballed, and I threw myself into studying for a Diploma in Professional Interior Design skills with the NDA. I have had a passion for home décor since I was a child, when I would move my bedroom furniture around on a weekly basis, much to the delight of my parents!
As a Marine Biology graduate, my design style is very much inspired by the sea and the landscape around me. I aim to keep the environmental impact of my designs to a minimum, and love to source thrifted items and reclaimed or eco-friendly materials for projects.
